I just wanted to try on medieval clothes at Ioreth, but as I often do, I got carried away. Basically, the "beauty" of the image shows that I painted it for myself. :D I wasn't going to publish it. But why don't we remember the Talion family. As I walk through the fandom, I already forget that Talion had a wife.
It seems to me that Monolith Productions should have devoted more time to the life of this family. For example, training in the game, start with some kind of patrol, Talion, territories around the gate. Show us how they live. To make us live with them for a few days, to make us love them. That would have made Talion's grief resonate more vividly in us.
I know how the game was created, what difficulties and fears the developers faced. Therefore, I understand why the game immediately throws us into the thick of events. But still, I can't deny that the players' lack of affection for Talion's family spoils the empathy for the main character a little. Empathy, of course, is inherent in all adequate people, but there is a difference between detached empathy and grief, which we take to heart.
Revenge is, in fact, not an easy topic. I just think the creativity of the fandom quite vividly reflects that people are not particularly imbued with the feelings of the main character. And speaking for myself, well, I can be called sentimental, so it was hard for me to watch some of the scenes. Even the scenes of Celebrimbor's family, no matter how much I disliked this elf, I looked at the screen through tears.
