Well that was odd. He saw a little kid who looked to be about as young as his own son by himself. Walking up to the kid, he forced himself to squat down. It was his fatherly duty to help a little kid. Especially when he had one of his own.

“Hey bud, are you lost?” He tried asking gently. “Where are your parents?”

Val smiled and knelt down despite being heels to hug little Crish “How are you sweetie? And hows your dad?” She also looked through her bag for a plastic wrapped lollipop that was spiraled pink and blue colours. “This is for you, but don’t tell your parents I’m giving you sugary goodness.” She then ruffled Crish’s platinum blonde hair.

There was no better feeling than having your child wrap his arms around you, especially for no apparent reason. He lifted Crish into his arms, tossing him up once in the air before hugging him back.
