This means so much to me... Introducing rude cripple, my first #spoonie set! (last day to grab the full set BTW its also one of the exclusive prints for Feb, link in my bio if you wanna see more 💋) I've incorporated my disability into my projects more and more but this was my first official one! It's been almost a year since I first started working on it, and I'm so excited to finally share it with you guys (I went through about 70 combinations till I was happy with this look BTW, I needed to make sure I felt as bad-ass as I wanted to look too hehe) Growing up shy and British, along with a massive need for adult approval, meant that for my entire life coming off as a rude was one of the biggest sins. It was so innate I didn't even realise I was doing it, but as I got sicker and sicker over the last five years I found the toll of  bending over backwards not to make people feel uncomfortable about my illness and my disability way beyond my capabilities.  It got to the point where it was just taking too much of my (incredibly limited) effort and deciding between feeding myself and having a stranger think I was polite? I think that choice becomes more obvious at that state.
