Doing the @etsylincs challenge, todays prompt is who. This one got me thinking a lot, I'm an artist, and i share a lot about that on here, it's pretty and i love it. but i'm also a lot of other things, an activist, physically disabled, lgbt+, an ex-addict and in chronic pain daily. These things have made me strong as balls and gave me the push to start doing art profesionally, more compasionate to those less lucky then me, more outspoken to those more lucky than them, more willing to pursue what i want to do in life. i want to try and show the whole story more, meet and connect with others like me, bring the small beauties and insights that brings into my life here into my art. So this is an entirely unflattering photo of me on my birthday recently, no makeup, no clothes, scruffy haired, taking time to pace for my m.e, soaking in the bath for my pain, and smoking as it's a small pleasure i allow myself nowadays for my mental health. I'm oddly proud of it and want others to be proud of taking care of themselves too. Thanks @jenniferjacksondolls for the prompt and chance to talk about hard happy things. . . . #etsylincs #etsylincsmeetup #artist #disability #disabled #disabledandcute #disabledcrafter #myalgicencephalomyelitis #chronicillness #chroniclife #chronicfatigue #chronicpain #chronicallyfabulous #realtalk #cripplepunk #aa #na
