Written for the Bingqiu Reverse Minibang 2023, illustrated and conceptualized by the incredible Suzu!

This is sooooo good, if you start reading this I guarantee you won’t stop until you finish. The dynamic between Shen Yuan and Shen Jiu is amazing, funny, and heart breaking in equal measure. Features Shen Yuan’s ridiculous self sacrificing behavior, lots of disciple shenanigans, Luo Binghe’s moon sized crush on his Shixiong, and Shen Jiu slowly learning how to be softer. And on top of all of that, the art that goes along with the story is super beautiful! I only just read this and it’s already become one of my all time favorite Bingqiu fics. I can’t recommend this enough!

Role reversal thoughts

So, we all know and love a role reversal (not really yall, there’s too little role reversal bingqiu n other fics and that must be corrected!) and we also know and love the teacher/student JiuYuan/ScumCum! We also love LiuShen

SO WHAT IF! Teacher/student LiuShen???

This idea has been plaguing my mind for most of today so hear me out

Liu Qingge is the Bai Zhan Peak Lord, recently, there’s been whispers of naming him a War God, or something. But well, its not like he cares that much.

However, the same people that praise him have started ro be very annoying and ask him if he will actually take a disciple some time. Liu Qingge is happy enough running a peak with hallmasters and people from his own generation, he doesn’t need a limpet dragging him down.

But these annoying, incessant people (his martial siblings) don’t seem to be taking no for an answer. So, he has decided to show up st the disciple selection, stay a little bit and then go back to hus things.

But when he gets there, there’s a young boy who has a determined face while digging with surprising power, who kicks at dirt and rocks when he forgets himself and gets frustrated, who sighs and looks at the sky (not at the peak lords, mind you) murmuring things that are probably not complimentary to any heavenly officials.

Liu Qingge doesn’t want the hassle of disciples. But this kid. He has potential

What Liu Qingge doesn’t see (how could he really?) is that this kid will lazily complain to him, will wake him up from paperwork with a cup of tea, will get lost in his own thoughts with his silhouette contrasting against the sunset, will fight him when he is being hotheaded or unfair, will spar with him when he wants to get rid of excess energy, ramble to him about monsters and plants and everything and nothing while they go on nighthunts. He doesn’t see how quirky and companiable this young man is, or how enchanting he will look like smiling, or crying, or being worried about him. Liu Qingge has no idea how much he will care for him, and how much he will be cared for in return.

Liu Qingge sees a glimpse of Shen Yuan, but doesn’t see their future just yet.

Shen Yuan transmigrates into the role of a minor villain who is related to one of Luo Binghe's future wives. He ends up becoming a Cang Qiong Mountain disciple and Luo Binghe's Shixiong, where he finds that a lot of original plot points have been altered. Features nice guy Shen Jiu, a fair amount of wife plots, and a lot of Disciple!SY shenanigans
