what is sucess?
I want to ask you a question:what is sucess?what does sucess means to you? Is it having the best house in the colony with the most beautiful garden?Is it being filthy rich,having more money than the cells in your body?Is it having the latest car?Maybe it's achiving A*s in O levels? There is a man in history who had the best palaces ever constructed while he is the most unsucessful person to ever walk on the face of this earth.He was a complete loser,in easier language.And then there is a man in history who's father kicked him out,and the person became homeless.But he is extremely sucessful.The first person,the loser is Pharoah.The latter one is Ibrahim (A.S). I am not saying this on my own rather this is what the Quran teaches me. So what's the wisdom in this then? It means that in Islam,materialism isn't success .The best grades aren't success .Sucess is achiving Taqwa.Success is sticking in the path of Allah even when the situation is the most difficult.Sucess is feeling like giving up anything but then not doing so.Sucess is sirtun mustaqim.Success is seeing the whole world naked and being dressed for the sake of your Lord.Success is being the slave of Allah.Success is following this beautiful deen of Allah. This doesn't means that you don't have to try your best.But then again you need to set your priorities right. Are we running after sucess or materialism then?
