Honestly and with a hand in my heart I must say that I was reading certain posts in my dash about Riordan and I didn't understand what was happening? But I went to my 3 head blogs to find out what was going on and oh my kids, i'm so sad?

I do not want to sound repetitive and say things that have already been said, but I thought the very idea of ''is a book for children so it can not talk about serious topics in depth'' or ‘’we can not talk about complex issues in a children's book’’ is it so absurd? It's a vague way of thinking, are you also saying that young children are not able to understand the idea that gay kids or persons of color exist? When many of those who read these books are children who are discovering themselves, many are children of color who read the books! And the idea of giving them a "half" representation bothers me a lot.

And seriously, you don't have to feel personally offended when it's talk about Riordan and his little knowledge about certain subjects in which he is clearly ignorant.

I really didn't mean to get into the whole Rose vs. Andi thing. But man this shit is getting fucked, so.

So, Andi started yelling about how trans women are raped and abused more often. Which isn't true. Rose addressed that trans woman are her sisters, that they face the same issues. Andi kept yelling about rose not doing anything for trans women. Which is bullshit. She's fighting for women. She's talking about her own experiences. You're acting like an entitled child.

Andi goes off like a fucking bomb, and won't stop yelling. On Rose's book signing. About her experiences with rape and abuse. Andi yelled at her for no goddamn reason and, honestly I would've reacted the same as rose did.

And Riley J. Dennis stood up for that fucker. Good God, why are this the trans people being the loudest. Why are they heard and we aren't.

I hope Rose is doing good. I hope rose keeps fighting the good fight. I hope she won't change her mind on trans people because if what this disgusting human being did.

And I hope more trans people speak out against Andi. Make some noise. We aren't like this.
