I may have just come up with the most CRAZIEST movie idea EVER that could save Disney:

Pete comes up to Disney executives and pitches a a very cliché and straight up bad movie idea all about himself; and because Disney is going through a rough time rn, the executives love it and put him in charge.

Mickey tries to tell the executives what they’re doing wrong (politely ofc) knowing it’s a bad idea; only for the company executives to get tired of him and kick him out of the organization completely.

Now in the streets, it’s up to Mickey and a rag tag of an indie animation team he stumbled upon to save Disney and bring it back to its former glory.

It’s all in the “who framed roger rabbit” style (think of that short 100th anniversary film Disney made a while back)
