It was long ago that New York stood as the capital of the world with its incredible architecture making it a natural site for the 1964-1965 World’s Fair. many iconic sites were built specifically for this event including the Queens sphere, that greet you when arriving from JFK to Manhattan, among many others.
The event was highly publicized all over the world and spawned some of the best ever designed travel posters as shown above (click on images for details).
New York will rebound. It will take time but it will.
