Just finished Book 7 😭 (tw: Spoilers + rambling ahead) and thank goodness I had Dorm Leona and Dorm Vil they CARRIED the fights so I kinda breezed through those battles 😮💨
(Unlike Book 6 where I was pulling my hair out trying to strategize my gameplay)
Now, I gotta take a breather because wtf was this trauma 😭 SILVER DONT CRY PLEASE I JUST WANNA GIVE HIM A SMOOCH AND A HUG AND CALL IT A DAY 😭
Sebek also looks so done here lmfao
Speaking of Sebek "Living Bolt" Zigvolt HE LOOKS SO GOOD WITH HIS HAIR DOWN!! I'm def. pulling for Everknight Sebek this month. I also like the fact that we got to see a bit more of his no-nonsense character and where he's coming from with all this human vs fae stuff. He's really grown on me and I've only just played the earlier parts of Book 7.
Plus that whole scene with his grandfather might even be cathartic since he's somewhat "earned" (or confirmed?) his grandfather's approval - even if it was through a dream.
Though it's really funny how everytime he uses his unique magic he gets jolted HAHA his seiyuu definitely knocked the comedic timing out of the park here
This whole scene also cracked me up 😂 Yes Silver, it's Superman Idia!!
Also very hot of Idia to be this confident. I half expected him to look a little more fearful but instead we got our genius engineer coming to save the day (not that he has a choice lol)
A.N: This is a direct sequel to my Crimson Flowers: Glorious Masquerade Special. Although you don't necessarily need to read that to understand this but it helps.
Twisted Wonderland Masterlist

Mia was surprised to see Sebek standing outside their classroom when she arrived the next morning. Ace and Deuce raised an eyebrow.
“What are you doing here, so early in the morning, Sebek?” Ace asked.
Grim folded his arms, “Exactly how long have you been standing here?
Sebek turned to them, “Only about fifteen minutes!”
“What?” Ace, Deuce and Grim cried.
“That is nothing when I’m on an important errand for Malleus-sama of course!”
Ace grumbled, making Deuce elbow him, “Of course! Why did I bother asking? Why else would you be here for?”
For once, Sebek did not get into it with Ace. He was on a mission and would not get deterred. He brought out the VIP card and handed it to Mia, “I am returning this to you!”
Mia was bemused as she flipped over the card and saw the neat script: ‘I accept’
“‘I accept’, what?” Ace asked, looking over her shoulder.
“Must have something to do with her invitation, I’d reckon.” Deuce mused.
Mia gave a nod with a grin, “Yep! Thank you for returning this for your lord. I shall see him at the appointed hour!”
Sebek grinned, “Indeed. Although you will see him Friday for your Gargoyle Research Society, don’t forget.”
“Of course!”
“Alright, I have conveyed the will of my lord, so I shall head to class now!” Sebek stated before turning around.
“Why is he practically skipping like he was invited?! Wait, is anyone else invited tot this?” Ace asked.
“Duh, no.” Mia turned and walked into class.
“So, what is this tea party going to entail?” Deuce inquired.
Grim grumbled, “Mia hasn’t even told me anything about this tea party! I wanted to come, but Mia told me I wasn’t invited!”
“It’s not for you, my little Grimling. It’s for Malleus and if I don’t play my cards right, it’ll get back to Malleus and the surprise will be ruined. Don’t ask me nothing! My only confident on this matter is Lilia.”
Grim and Ace grumbled as Deuce smiled, “Well, I wish you well, then.”
“Thank you, Deuce.”
—
Mia rounded the corner to see Malleus staring up at the gargoyle. He turned to her with a smile, “You’ve arrived.”
“Yep!”
Mia had pulled out her sketchbook and began to quietly sketch.
“Lilia remarked that you made that invitation, was that true?”
She nodded, “Yep! I borrowed the art department computers. I used to do similar things when I was in my world, so the programs weren’t that hard. Brought some extra material from Sam and viola!”
Malleus chuckled once, “I thank you, Child of Man! I was quite a delight to receive.”
She looked up at him then, “You are welcome! Make sure to bring the other VIP card. There will be “security check.”
“I have no fear of that.”
To Mia’s astonishment, Malleus pulled the VIP card from his pocket. She stared at him agape.
“Something wrong?” he asked, cocking his head.
“Pfft, Ma…Malleus…are you….” Mia was trying and failing at containing her laughter before it burst out, “.....I swear I’m not laughing at you, Tsunotarou, but have you seriously been carrying a homemade VIP card for the last two days?”
Malleus furrowed his eyebrow, “Is there something wrong with that? I want to be sure I don’t lose it and have it on the day in question.”
“But…but….it’s just Friday. The event isn’t until Monday evening!!” Mia cried between her laughter.
Malleus eyed Mia, who was laughing so hard she as bowled over. He was sure this might have been a human thing, but he couldn’t help but to wonder what was so funny.
“I promise you, I’m not making fun of you Tsunotarou, but usually humans just put the card somewhere and pick it up when they are ready to go to the event, not carry it for almost a week on their person. I mean, maybe they’d put it in a wallet or their purse on an earlier date.”
“Hm, so it’s odd from a human standpoint?” Malleus mused.
Mia just shrugged, “Eh, whatever makes you happy. I guess, I didn’t realize you’d value it that that much, you want to carry it around until the event.”
“Well, I’m not often invited places, as you know. I quite like the invitation you made as well.”
Mia looked pleased, embarrassed as she stated, “Yeah, Sebek blabbed that you hanged it in your room.”
“Should I have not?” Malleus asked, “It was a finely made invitation. Surely, people don’t throw them away.”
“Actually, they probably would. But not to worry, Lilia told me that you’d probably want to keep it, so I thought I make something that was at least a little bit worthy of being a keepsake. But physical invitations are quite rare, outdated, I think. At least in my world, most things had become digital. People usually just phone in their RSVP. I just thought, I’d make everything into a game. Also, Lilia’s suggestion. Make it more fun.”
Malleus smiled, “Well, it certainly was, and I am looking forward to this tea party.”
Mia grinned, “Please do! This will not be an ordinary tea party that we usually have. I’ve been planning…kekeke….”
Malleus’ curiosity was peaked as he gazed down at her, “Oh, such as?”
“Oh no, you are a million years old, you can afford some patience!!”
“I am certainly not a million. And I’m quite young by fae standard.”
Mia eyes glittered, “What you are child?”
“I wouldn’t go that far.”
—
“WAKA-SAMA!! You look regal in your ceremonial robes!!” Sebek preened,“The day has finally come upon us! It’s the day of your tea party with Mia this evening!!”
Silver smiled, “Yes, you look very regal. I hope you enjoy your tea party tonight!”
Meanwhile, Lilia was busy snapping photos with sniffles, “My baby is going to a party without me! He is growing up!”
“Father, please! This is not the first time!”
“But this is a rare occasion and should have the highest fanfire! What are you doing, Silver! You should be partaking in our lord’s joy!” Sebek snapped.
“Do you have your invitation?” Silver asked, pointedly ignoring Sebek.
Malleus pulled it out once, “Indeed. I would not forget such a thing!” In fact, he wouldn’t be able to even if he wanted to. Sebek, Silver and Lilia had all reminded him all day about it. They even kept a watchful eye on the time, not that he left to his own devices on this day.
No, he didn’t call himself waiting all day for this event.
“Are you certain you don’t need an escort?” Sebek fretted.
“No, not today. I shall walk from here to Ramshackle Dorm. I shall see you all later.”
“Please notify me as once, if you run into any problems! May your evening be stellar!! If it isn’t tell me, and I shall give that human a piece of my mind!” Sebek cried.
Silver only shook his head at Sebek once. They all got a piece of his mind, frequently. He spoke with a smile, “Have a good evening, my lord.”
Lila had produced a handkerchief from somewhere and was waving it, “Have fun, my dear!!”
—
Malleus walked confidently up the gates of Ramshackle Dorm. He had enjoyed walking to the dorm. It wasn’t something he did very much, as he usually just teleported. Although there weren’t any gargoyles along the way, it was a very nice and peaceful walk.
“Eh, who goes there!”
The noise broke the stillness of the night, making him look up to see Ace and Deuce arms folded, glaring at him from in front of the gate. Well, Ace was glaring, Deuce faltered and then fixed his gaze below his.
“State your business!” Grim snapped, floating between the two.
“I’m here as I received an invitation.” Malleus replied calmly. This must be the check-in that they told him about.
“Oh, where is it?” Ace asked.
Malleus pulled out the VIP card and presented to them. Ace barely glanced at it, “Well, check the man’s VIP!”
Deuce awkwardly took the VIP card, before making a show of turning it back and forth, then he handed it to Ace.
Grim eyed the VIP card from over his shoulder as Ace quickly read it. Then he held the VIP card to the light, “I supposed it's legit. Looks a bit crumpled though…”
Malleus folded his arms, “I assure you it’s not. I cast a spell to keep it clean and neat when I first received it. It’s not possible that it has the least bit wrinkle.”
He saw Ace falter then, and his eyes bugged out, “Seriously?”
“Wow, really?” Deuce asked.
“You did all that for a piece of paper?!” Grim shrieked.
“It’s more than just a piece of paper to me! It was part of an invitation! Is it not just good manner to keep it orderly until it’s time to present it? I even cast a spell that if it fell out of my pocket, I would know.”
“WHAT?!” The three chorus.
Then Ace coughed, “Well, uh, this might be fake. I mean, your name is technically not on it…”
“Let’s hang it up, Ace!” Deuce stated. He was sure they were testing Malleus’ patience now. He shuddered as he heard Mia’s voice:
Tease him, a little bit. A little, you understand. If I hear thunder and lightening, I will thunder and lightening your behind. Don’t put all of what little brain cells you have into this! It’s supposed to be fun! Don’t take it too far!!
While Ace only laughed it off, Deuce took it seriously. He did not what to get struck down by lightening twice. Once by Malleus and then by Mia. He snatched the invitation and presented it back to Malleus with a smile, “Go ahead, she’s waiting for you out back!”
“Thank you.”
The trio walked away from Ramshackle Dorm, intending to go back to Heartlabyul, while Malleus continued to the back of Ramshackle. He was surprised to see a table spread with food and tea.
Mia grinned also wearing her ceremonial robe, “Welcome to my tea party, Malleus!! Please have a seat!”
“Oh my, Child of Man, did you do this all yourself?” Malleus asked as he took a seat after taking a moment to appreciate the setting. The colors she chose even matched his dorm, black and green.
“Well, if you want something done right….” Mia trailed off.
In truth, Mia felt it was faster to set it up herself. She didn’t want commentary from Ace or Grim. Deuce seemed to be the only one that didn’t test her patience as far as the other two. However, to her surprise, Jack had showed up and ended up helping her move the table outdoors. And he did it quietly and left without comment. Mia owed him a favor after this was over. As for the simple finger food, she ended up cooking it herself yesterday. Grim was still mad he wasn’t invited.
Let him stay mad.
Malleus looked around the table, a small smile playing on his lips. Mia had taken a plate and dished up some of the food and handed it to him, before pouring the tea, “Save some room, there is icecream.”
Mia giggled as Malleus stopped the fork halfway in his mouth at the mention of his favorite dessert. Remembering himself, he finished his bite, just as Mia tucked into hers.
“This is delicious, Mia.” Malleus spoke after the first bite, “Ah, where are my manners? I have not properly thanked you for inviting me.”
Mia just laughed, “How many times now? You thanked during our club meeting.”
“Yes, but it’s good manners to thank you now. So, thank you for this invitation. You have put a lot of thought into this and I shall treasure this memory.”
Mia smiled over her teacup, “Ahh, well, you're welcome.”
