I love when superheros come to life in books. I know that sounds cheesy and technically it's not real, but I'm not in the minority when we feel books come to life. I love how in all of these books, the guys step up to save their ladies in whatever is going on. I recently read Reason to Breathe by @rebeccadonovanauthor and that book gutted me. I knew going in it wasn't a light and fluffy book, but DANG. I've been dying to continue but I know I need to be emotionally ready because it drains you but in a good way. This is one of those that once you start, you fall immediately into the world and experience from afar. Seriously, I loved it! Vampire Academy is one of my all time favorite series. I started this series around the time Twilight came out and continued to follow the series until all 6 were published. 😄 Apparently, when book 4 released, I MET Richelle Mead. I remember going to the signing, but I don't physically remember meeting her or getting it signed. About a year ago, I was going through my books getting ready for RT (one in Dallas they had) and came across that Blood Promise was signed to me along with temporary tattoos. 😨 who in their right mind forgets something this big?! Apparently me. 😳😩 I did meet her at RT, and thankfully I remember that experience. 😂 Day 25: #lilbookishaugust oldie but a goodie; #DisneyAugustChallenge saddest "death" (Lion King) - if you've read the series, I think it's around book 3 or 4 that something big happens. #disneyaugustchallenge 23. Best friends (Baymax). Adorkable has one od yhose delicious driendships that turn into something more, and another really cool freindship as well. Not to mention that sharp British wit and all the hotness... I wss lookimg through my ya shelves and could find no (good) book with a solid friendship (esp. not between people of the same sex.) That made me so sad. We need more solid frienships in ya lit. One of my newest favorite siblings is the Page family in Fighting Silence by @authoralymartinez! I recently read the first book- I think it was last week.. (time is going tooooo fast) and it became an all time favorite for me. I hope to read the 2 sequels this week before I start my semester! So much reading to cram in!!! It's PURPLE DAY!!! 💜 Our fun bookish rainbow week has now come to an end. How fun it was though!! 🤗 I love seeing everyone's rainbow feeds!! They're seriously gorgeous!! 😍 .
