The Mortal Instruments had some of the best bookish friendships. 💭 What was your favorite August read? . I can not believe August is over 😱 But it's also about to be my FAVORITE season...FALL 🍂 So I'm really glad for that! . Anyways time for my #AugustWrapUp 📚 • He Will Be My Ruin: 5 ⭐️'s • Little Black Dress, Little White Lies: 4 ⭐️s • Ever the Hunted: DNF • A Week of Mondays: 5 ⭐️s • The Lost & Found: 2 ⭐️s • Poppy: DNF • The Graces: DNF • Frazzled: 5 ⭐️s • Vicarious: 5 ⭐️s • Never Ever: DNF . I'm also halfway through the Illuminae audio, which is a re-read for me! The audio is AMAZING! I'm still reading Scarlet, I'm enjoying it but I think I've just not been in the mood for it. I'm also halfway through The Young Elites, which I'm currently obsessing over!! . Also, take my DNFs with a grain of salt most of the time. If I don't feel a book is going to be a 4 or 5 star for me, I DNF. I only care to spend time in books I LOVE. I had that one 2 star because it was a 4 then the ending royally pissed me off 😑 . All the books I rated high, I seriously urge you to pick them up! I had more on my plate than I expected and I bit off more than i could "chew" by taking on two challenges. However, one thing I didn't fail at was for the first time ever! I actually fulfilled the TBR list I set for myself at the beginning of the month. Even though it was only three books I'm still immensely pleased with myself because I set myself a goal and I reached it. My August Wrap Up. 🤓 --- So, August was definitely a better month for me than June & July were. I read a lot of great books, including FINALLY starting my reread of *Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone*, which I finished yesterday. 😊 --- My fave read of the month would definitely have to be *The Beauty of Darkness* by Mary E.
