While having long (and reluctantly) embraced this lifestyle of one mystery after the next, he'd hardly found now to be an ideal time for another, especially considering the lives that hung in the balance where his concern was due. Rather than worry about a scolding from the Foundation he worked for, his problem was now an immense unease that came with waking up in an amusement park unheard of in his world.
He would have liked to admit that an environment seemingly untouched by despair was comforting, but he's been at the hands of someone who intentionally rose hope just to shatter it. Just the fact he couldn't recall how he got here was a chilling nostalgic feeling better left forgotten.

Naegi could barely believe this mysterious person who eluded even the most knowledgeable of their academy was standing some distance away casually within the hotel plaza.
"Wait..." The words fall out as more of a quiet musing than an effective call, but he does know he needs to approach and soon, before the other wandered out of his sights. It was more than just learning how the teen was involved in all this-- the matter of his identity was crucial. Hopes bound forward before the unnecessary recklessness of his shout could be considered.
"--Wait, please!"
