Cutting Sonar vs Coupe, and it's affects on the ending (edit: i legit dont agree w/ this post entirely anymore. Keeping it up for archival sake.)

This is the only post I'll ever make that has any possibility to be controversial, but I wanna ramble a bit! This is just my personal interpretation, and I love everyone's interpretations too! Pls pls pls don't take this the wrong way. Just how I've personally seen the characters
So.. the cut choice, and their subsequent team up with shroud and revenge. I'm suuuper bias, but I feel like Coupé is the 'correct' choice to cut. It feels more in line with everyone's character's to me.
Mostly because Sonar teaming up with Shroud seems SO out of character. When you cut him, he seems alot more sad than he is mad. He doesn't break anything, and he just seems hurt. His crimes are all money and drug possession (not dealing) related. There is a mention of ONE second degree murder charge on his paper, but it's only listed on the paper that also has the wrong height for him, and never mentioned, so I take that with a grain of salt.
Coop, however, ABSOLUTELY would team up with Shroud out of spite. She is a cold assassin with 68 confirmed kills. She has way more hate and violence in her heart imo.
im so sad. that anyone would cut sonar and have to get this ending just seeing sonar as the ultimate villain along with shroud instead of Coupe. because Sonar doesnt even seem actually hateful, when u ask him to come back, he looks up there, and he doesnt look mad. He looks. so fucking sad.
I don't know how to express this without just repeating myself a bunch, but I just cannot see Sonar in that role srsly. It felt so non-threatening and unserious with how sonar was behaving in all that too, lol.

I think that was less of a "I dont want to" and more of an "It's too late now." because, like. shroud would just fucking kill him if he switched up NOW. This does apply to both of them, but Sonar's seems alot more sad than mad, once again.
Though I will say, the revenge fight with sonar was SOOOO FUCKING COOL. Absolute cinema. I wish we got to see more Megabat Sonar fights without it being a betrayal for Shroud.
