He loves you.
If I didn’t believe I had autism before, then dnd would’ve opened my eyes to this fact tenfold. I’ve had hyperfixations before, but nothing is comparable to the way I’m going absolutely insane over developing and worldbuilding my dnd lore. I can literally think about my 80% unfinished dnd world for 12 seconds and I’ll start smiling evilly, as though I was some villainous mastermind forming their next dastardly scheme. When it comes to characters I’m literally out here creating my own blorbos. The fact that I can just pull character ideas from the pit in my brain with my thousands of unused ideas and actually use it for once. I’ve had the creative itch for years and years and this is the perfect outlet for it. I’m not even close to being done with the story yet but even just the smallest addition to it in my mind makes me so genuinely happy in a way that I haven’t been since I was a kid playing LittleBigPlanet on my ps3. Dnd has given me a kind of creative outlet that I’ve always wanted, because I finally get to share my ideas in a comprehensible format again, except instead of strangers on the internet it’s going to be with my friends. Such an awesome feeling
Don’t worry. Blahaj is fighting the horrors to protect you :)
I’m gonna kiss you so hard your vision will fade to black and you’ll wake up in Skyrim intro
dnd names are so funny because you can just make up absolutely fucked up words and there are just characters that will exist in your world with that name. and depending on the area or culture it could have to be treated as completely normal by the players while in character. nobody can question their teammate named Dipmetteson because in a fake world the name Jack could be equally rare. it works for many settings as well, in traditional fantasy settings there are many races, in sci fi it could be alien languages, in modern day settings there could just be a lot of hateful parents in the world, etc
here’s just a few examples from my devious mind
Gurbingsly
Starlp
Jelhemet Vonvenson
Scrumptious
Jim-Jim
Treeter
Allen Qualp
Blibbit Qualp
Ascear
H’Tlemech the Bird Watcher
Possibilities are bountiful. It’s practically an art
Dude I was making such good meowing sounds on the elevator today. It was crazy realistic
Eclipse too powerful. Idaho and most of Minnesota gone. Joe Biden disappointed
16 inches in a the fryer. 16 inches of me hurt really badly. Connect the dots, figure out the truth.
