Saskia knew she was being pretty forward with Autumn about her feelings but, she thought; screw it, might as well just be honest. Keeping her fingers locked with his, she leaned over and kissed him softly. "I love you, Autumn," she whispered. "I don't want anyone else, I just want you."

florence was feeling rather off-kilter lately. unbalanced was quite a generous description of her everyday life, but she had learned to adapt. these last few days were just different. her many attempts to return to some sort of equilibrium did nothing to soothe the all-consuming, unnerving feeling. something simply was not right. she was out running, for gods sake. in the morning. stone cold sober. anyone who knew her would be confused and frankly disturbed by this. even she could barely recognise herself in this moment.

she paused momentarily to catch her breath, realising she had unwittingly arrived at @divinetenebris's place. without a second thought, she jogged to her door and knocked. maybe kylie could offer her some solace. truthfully, florence was tired of suffering alone in whatever plauged her.

Daniela grinned as she watched Vera struggle through their sentence, her fingers drumming on her knees slowly. She had thoroughly enjoyed the picture Vera had sent, kept it tucked nice and safe in her photo folder. "Don't give me that, honey." Daniela's tone was teasing as she leaned forward into Vera's personal space. "I think you wanted me to get that picture. I'm flattered, really." Tossing her hair over her shoulder, Daniela reached her hand forward and dragged her nails up Vera's arm. "Care to give me a private show?"

"is this how we're starting conversations together from now on? just going right at one another?" mina was trying to be playful with this, to avoid answering the questions properly. she knew what she had done. there was no denying that last part most definitely. "live your life and then who'd be my best friend? what would be the point?" a brief pause. "fucked. if it helps. fucked your ex. just the-the one time."

yaretzi rolled her eyes at mina's comment, she knew mina was right. going at her wouldn't do anything, they were best friends after all, but she couldn't help the burning anger that she felt towards the other girl. "did it make you feel better? when you fucked my ex?" she asked finally, crossing her arms in front of her chest. "you could have at least done it with someone who wouldn't gloat to me that the got to fuck my best friend."

It's not often that Shauna acts like a nervous wreck, face stern, pacing back and forth. Usually, when she is hanging out with Laura Lee, she is anything but nervous. Laura Lee is a familiar face, but without the baggage. Yet, today, the baggage Shauna desperately kept running away from has caught up to her.

"Are you going to that Yellowjackets reunion tonight?" It was an informal thing that one Jackie had planned, to get them all to meet after years of going their separate ways. If Shauna was asked about it, she'd say it was a stupid thing. Truth was that she was too scared to try and face the girls again... Well, Jackie, especially.

"I don't think it's worth it. I mean, why go, right? What are we gonna talk about, soccer? We probably don't have anything in common anymore."
