SPIRITUALITY IS SUBJECTIVE

The really beautiful spiritual lessons must be internalized by the seeker. That means each and every person must come to their own understanding of the Divine. This is evident in the way people argue over whose beliefs are right and wrong.
The simple truth is mysticism doesn't translate and has to be realized through trial and error. Spiritual leaders can give long winded discourses until their blue in the face but they can't walk the path for you.
Start by doing. Open your heart and soul to God. By simply being alive and aware of the breath in your lungs you're already connecting to the Divine presence within. This is how we awaken.
THE DELIGHT OF GOD

Who is She? She has been known by many different names to various cultures across the globe. She is respectively regarded as the creative aspect of the Holy Trinity here in the west. King Solomon referred to Her as Wisdom. She was there when the Universe was formed and invites us to use that creative power to transform ourselves. She is the Divinity we feel within us. What some call intuition, or the still small voice.

GNOSTIC MYSTICISM
I wanted to share the following excerpt with you because I find the near eastern concept of the chakras fascinating. In the Acts Of Thomas there is poem titled the "Hymn of the Pearl" where it interweaves several of the motifs from the New Testament into one beautiful story. We see aspects of the Prodigal Son blended with the tale of the merchant who sells his possessions to gain one pearl which represents the Kingdom of Heaven.
However, the main theme in this epic is actually the restoration of the robe which represents the human souls journey from the lower realms of the material world to the higher realms of spiritual understanding. The climax of this epic poem represents the union of the believer (the prince) with Jesus (the prince's brother), with whom he inherits the Kingdom of God.
What we have here is a near eastern telling of the rising of the Kundalini. This poem, which rivals the epics of ancient Greece, shows us what every human being can achieve; a union with the Divine.

JESUS AND THE SAMARITAN WOMAN
The Gospel of John has so much mysticism written into its pages it’s unreal. The symbolism portrayed hits on so many different levels. One of my favorites is the story the Samaritan woman. Augustine sited that “the fact she came from a foreign people is part of the symbolism” as it represents a people that did not know Christs message. The Samaritans had their own Holy Mountain (Gerizim) where they worshiped YHWH and were recognized as spiritual impure by the Israelites. This is huge. Christ was illustrating the point that cultural differences don’t cut people off from the Spirit of God.
Remember, the veil that separated humans from God in the Temple tore apart when Christ died. Nothing separates us. NOTHING. He starts his ministry with foreigners (people that don’t know God) by illustrating this point. “True worshippers will worship the Father in Spirit and in truth.”
Now, think of the well itself. The one we see on the physical level quenches our physical thirst. Christ literally says “the water I shall give will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” Carl Jung spoke of the workings of the mind and hidden springs in his work. The workings of the mind being our waking mind and the hidden springs being the subconscious- the Soul. This is the level Christ is talking about. He is talking about awakening the Divine presence in all of us. From the wellspring within. This is what it means to be born of water and Spirit.
It’s the division that’s a lie. We are not separated from God and your way of worship doesn’t have to look like mine. “One sows and another reaps.”
PRAY FROM A PLACE OF AUTHORITY
The "I AM" presence is divinity within you. There is a part of you that God literally resides in. We aren't connected to the Divine, we are- in part- Divine. What is often referred to as the still small voice is in fact the Holy Spirit within us. This in no way, shape or form is meant to imply that we are gods it simply means God is within us. That being said we should ALWAYS pray from that place of authority. Your words have a potent & powerful manifesting ability. That "sense" of demanding is God working through you. If life truly does give whatever you ask for then ask with authority. Ask knowing it yours.
