Evelyn and Dale will have their moments of talking privately, but it's hard for both of them to ever share how they TRULY feel. Evelyn can hardly look at Dale in those moments because she's afraid of trusting that vulnerability he'd show- she trusted it before. Dale, on the other hand, would only let his guard down for a second. But I also think there's something to say when they can still hold hands, even in silence. They trust each other, but it's hard to verbalize it, much less show it when others are around. 💼💛💸🧡
