Hey Guys!
Michelle will be coming by The Bulk Trash this weekend, joining me on some projects and when that girl's around its ALWAYS a good time.
I know for the past week I've been posting a lot of inspiration and room ideas and not so many tutorials, but I've been crazy busy and so it goes.
HOWEVER! We have had some GREAT finds in the bulk trash room lately and just recently, we let something go into the bulk trash room too (womp womp).

Here's what we've found:
1. A stellar ceramic pot; has a small crack, but we will show you how to fix that, paint and polish up the pot so it shines and lasts for a long time!
2. Mad men style bar cart...can't wait to get my hands on that guy. This is a metal cart so we will show you what supplies you'll need to tackle metal. We will show you some ways to clean it, how you sand it, how we're going to paint it and a few other tricks : )
3. A new round farmhouse style wood chair; I don't know if we will get to everything this weekend, but my plan is to at least get this guy sanded down. He's pretty dirty and was clearly painted...poorly. We'll talk to you about sanding, grit size, how to know when to stop sanding and finishing ideas. I think we're painting with high gloss, but I'll go over a simple staining process too in case that's what YOU want to do!
What we got rid of:
THAT HORRID COUCH...futon...back breaker...whatever that thing was...it's gone. We got a new couch (with removable covers so when my lovely room mates *cough* adam *cough* spills all over it I can wash/bleach them! Woot!
I of course say this and I'm sure karma will have me spilling red wine in no time...alas.
