I have only one question: How are you so awesome? Special Branch is ridiculous. I've been attempting to formulate a review for you, but you have reduced me to flailing and gibberish. Man, I cannot wait to re-read the whole thing again. And again. Maybe by the third time I can come up with some words to explain how much it rocks?

You’ve just made my night--I’m so glad you’re enjoying Special Branch. It’s my baby and I love it desperately (and kind of stupidly, lol). I honestly just want to live in this universe forever with Harry and Draco and the rest of the team because I love them so, so much. (And oh, the things I’m going to put them through! They’re going hate me by the end of it all, LOLOLOL.)

Why don't you just watch journals you trust? It's like you're looking for drama in the tags. Leave them be, and stick with your actual followers list for a while.

I check the tags for the same reason everyone else does, to see if there is any new posts about what I care about. I visit the John Winchester tag to find new posts to share with everyone here.  I believe people should feel free to check any tag they want without being attacked and feeling offended.  

John’s tag is a special place where the rules of courtesy and respect don’t apply, and some feel free to call people they know visit the tag whatever they want. I have no interest of having a conversation with someone who calls me (and my fellow John fans) an abuse apologist, so I block them and keep enjoying the tag. But now I can’t block them so every time I visit the tag I have to see the dumb/offensive post. And that really annoys me!

I think I prefer women WHO rock. In vs. of modifies "rock", only. IE: X in Y =/= X of Y for instance: cat IN the hat vs. cat OF the hat. "In" makes more sense in this case. But "who" changes rock from a noun to a verb, and I prefer action :)

Oops, I forgot about that one! Though, I will say I think I forgot it because “women who rock” can refer to women who “rock” which can be synonymous with “awesome,” “badass,” etc. though that would change the phrase to “women who are awesome/badass/etc.” So by saying “women in/of rock” I refer specifically to the genre of music. However, of course “women who rock” can be applicable to music, but music is not the only idea that can be applied to the phrase. (But that’s part of what makes the phrase so great - it can be general!)

Re-watching this with a social justice eye means seeing Xander as a typical, non-violent, white, middle class teenaged boy (basically=entitled douche) and Joss wrote him that way; the point being the girls love him *despite* all that.

Yeah, I can’t help it. I still like him depite all that, just like you said.

Everything on the SJWHS list is real. I don’t look for it, most of it was found in John’s tag, some was sent by other fans via ask.  Usually when I see hateful/stupid comments I save them before ignoring the user, so some of it may be older but sadly they are all real.

Google's been freakin me out for years, since G+ and YouTube starting demanding my login. Yeah, OK Big Brother. But I hear you, me and my gmail account are co-dependant. G-Anon fistbump?

I was just reading a post about how badly Google is screwing the pooch over at YouTube, and I want nothing to do with it, or G+'s ridiculous facebook-lite features. But I've got ten years of LJ comments and fanfic feedback on my Gmail, and I wouldn't know where to go anyway. Make a hotmail account like it's 1999?
