SCP PSA
attention scp fandom
do not interact with the scp wiki unless you know what you’re doing. there is weird people on that site that get away with a lot of stuff.
the scp wiki is mainly adults, which is scary enough as it is when you’re a minor, but there’s also shady people on there that don’t even face repercussions for their actions and behavior.
many beloved authors are weirdos. djkaktus is a narcissist. he hasn’t been banned because he’s written many articles and they’re scared he’ll take them off the site if he is banned. he’s also suspiciously connected with known groomers and abusers. always at the scene of the crime, but always innocent? hmm
one of the authors of SCP-049, Gabriel Jade, ran an erp ring centered on a 17 year old girl. oh, and, djkaktus coauthored with him. what a surprise.
the way you can always tell when something was written by adminbright is so funny in the worst way. he’s so weird about women. don’t forget he’s a pedo too!
not to mention the staff suck ass at their jobs. i get that it’s volunteer work, but i’ve seen better moderation from discord servers ran by 15 year olds.
and whatever you do, if you are a minor, hell, even if you’re a young adult, DO NOT GO ON THE IRC. i cannot stress it enough. that is a dangerous place for you.
in conclusion:
reading/writing? good, encouraged, safe.
irc/talking with people who LIVE on the wikidot? absolutely not. unsafe. bad.
tldr: don’t meet your favorite authors
