It has been a week since it started. He and I had never gone out much. It helped. I hear them outside, slithering, waiting. It has been a week since the sun changed to crimson.

Everyone under the sunlight melted like wax. Yet, that was not the worst part. They were still alive. They melded together into a sickening, amorphous mass. Their voices together begged us to go outside.

Lately, he had started to listen to what they said. A strange, hopeful smile crept up on his lips. I don’t know what they told him.

After that day, he wasn’t the same anymore. I could hear him working when he thought I was asleep. Until... he finally he brought me to see his work.

He showed me “our room”. “They won’t catch us in here” “It will be just us” The smile on his face was manic, His breath heavy

I didn’t realize what he actually meant Until he took the covers from the windows off. My body was melting,  ...But his was too. It doesn’t hurt. Our combined biomass welded together. as one His thoughts were now mine. Mine were his.

He wasn’t trying to keep them out, He was trying to keep me in.

“now you lie here, the life in you gone in the dark outside of her rays crimson skies bear the torch; our sun today, my love, we’ll be as one”

Good lord I always wanna draw them, but since we have actual photos and Im not good at translating realism into my style, i was always kind of intimidated. I hope u appreciate my attempt on Aaron tho!! Im open for suggestions on how to improve it ofc

I just finished my (at this point, weekly) reread of Ouroboros and I feel like I start liking this guy more and more each time. Arians and Sophia wanted that twink pussy bad and I cant blame them

NGL, I used to confuse ZALGO and The Scarlet King a LOT back in the day. I think it was because they both canonically have red motifs and similar demonic features. It's only been recent years I've actually sat down and created designs to separate the two.

For the Scarlet King, I kept him relatively the same -- more like a mangled cosmic God that's restrained by ancient chains (made from the corpses of his seven wives).

For ZALGO, I seesaw between making him a demon and an old God. Either way it goes, he's only bound to Earth and will be designed with animal features. This design is called The Bleeding Goat and is probably my favorite version so far!

I'll try and post more about each concept as I go along!
