On my way to meet real life Ned and Cat Stark, @dknc3 and Mr DKNC3
She remembered her own childish disappointment, the first time she had laid eyes on Eddard Stark. She had pictured him as a younger version of his brother Brandon, but that was wrong. Ned was shorter and plainer of face, and so somber. He spoke courteously enough, but beneath the words she sensed a coolness that was all at odds with Brandon, whose mirths had been as wild as his rages. Even when he took her maidenhood, their love had more of duty to it than of passion. We made Robb that night, though; we made a king together.

@dknc3, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Darla!!!!! :D I hope you’re having an awesome day with your family!! I hope you have a great year, full of bright and good things – have fun today and tonight, and every other day :)
I knew I wanted to do something Star Wars related for you as a present, still including Ned and Catelyn too, of course :) I thought of going full on and doing a crossover, with them as Jedi or in the Rebellion or Resistance; and then I reread this very cute short story, Kindred Spirits by Rainbow Rowell and I planned to do them meeting in line to see (probably) Phantom Menace; but then I went with this!! Also, I have no idea if this is how early screenings happen or critics invitations, so sorry if that’s completely wrong…but I just wanted to do something fun and cute and very Star Wars related!!!
I really hope you enjoy this!!! And once again HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

(continued) Write all her own stories and do justice to the fic authors that inspire her. In that case, you might feel okay about letting her “jump off” from your fic. Jo and I will both always be grateful you allowed us that both that privilege! But given how much of your stuff she just took before (because we both know it was more than just Rivers and Roads), you have every right to say no to her now if that’s your preference. EVERY RIGHT. It’s your call, Ashley.

I would ignore them. They’ve behaved pretty badly and their message sounds rather entitled
I’m leaning towards ignoring them. Like you said Darla, you would suggest reading very carefully if I agreed, and I have no interest in doing that. If they decide to move forward without my answer, there isn’t much I can do (besides check and see, and report if she lifts any of my actual fic) and like I mentioned before, under normal circumstances I have no problem at all with someone doing a follow-up of my fic (it is actually very flattering and fun!) but this is definitely not normal. I’m probably making them sound more entitled than they really are because I’m salty about this person. I don’t think a normal review like that would bother me but because I know who this is, I’m like ‘what u say 2 me mofo.’ XD
dknc3 replied to your post “How do you think Sansa fits into the Stark family? Do you think either...”
"I don't think Catelyn has one favorite child. I think her favorite is whichever needs her the most." THIS!!! A thousand times this. Both as a mother and as an unapologetic fan of the fabulous, but far from perfect Catelyn Stark, I feel this so much!
I’m glad that made sense, because it goes against first impressions a little bit. But IMO the big thing about that first impression is that when the story starts, Bran is the one whose life appears to be changing, and so her mindset has this very present, wholehearted focus on him.
Arya Stark
this is legit gonna sound ridiculous: i hate that i can’t think of flaws for her that feel like real flaws. like the flaws i think of are so dependent on contingencies or are, in different circumstances, virtues that they feel like i’m missing something glaring and obvious.

I sometimes hate how long it takes to make something really big. :-/
send me literally anything and ill tell you something i hate about it

Oh, have fun at RAW! I know WWE is one of your favorite things! I've never been to San Diego, but my cousin who lived there awhile loved it. And I do love LA to visit. I think I"m too much a country girl to ever live there! :-)
I, too, think there is a huge difference in a visit and actually living somewhere...
I certainly hope to see these guys in Raw (not Roman, of course, as he has stepped out for a while)!
