SHU SAKAMAKI CHARACTER STUDY

Physical appearance:

Shu is not as fit as his brothers. After all, he does not excercise. However, he maintains a healthy frame, and his body is rather wide, and plump.

His hair is curly, and he doesn’t bother to keep it in place, so he has a bedhead 24/7. However, he has learned how to rock it lol

His skin is not as pale as his brothers, and it has a certain pink hue. It’s really soft.

He has deep set, droopy eyes, with deep blue irises. They give him the impression to be tired all the time (which he is)

He has a roman nose, similar to Reiji’s. Is the only physical aspect they share

He looks almost like if a cherub had the opportunity to grow up. His golden locks, rosy cheeks, and plush frame make him looks almost even friendly (cuddling with him must be heaven 🥹 too bad he’s crazy)

Style:

Very effortless. He wears comfy, breathable fabrics such as linen or cotton.

His clothes are always loose, he loves a relaxed fit. Mostly sweaters or button shirts in clear colors, like blue or white.

Khaki pants. That’s all I have to say, he looks like the type of guy who would wear khaki pants all the time lol.

The choker stays on. While sleeping, bathing, sex, you say it. It will NOT be removed.

He wears a pair of silver hoop earrings. His brothers (I’m looking at you, Ayato) pierced his earlobes one time while he was asleep, and the easiest solution was to just accept it.

Gene wise that makes no sense, Reiji should have lighter complexions like Shu but you know who Reiji does look like? Karlheinz’s younger brother Richter, who has already cheated with one of Karl’s other wives,,, it also explains Beatrix’s neglection of Reiji.

Ruki Mukami Character Study

I’ve decided to start a little series of character studies in order to draw the DL boys more consistently and add some HC I had into the character xP. The first victim was Ruki!

As for his physical appearance, Ruki is a tall, fit man. It has been mentioned in his route that he enjoys swimming, so he has a swimmer’s body (broad shoulders, big torax and long arms)

His eyes are long and droopy, giving the impression of “bed eyes”. He’s starting to have eyebags from all the stress caused by his siblings. His long eyelashes frame his dark blue eyes, which gives him a penetrating look. Like all vampires, I headcannon Ruki have elliptical pupils so that he looks more unnerving and scary.

He has a long skinny face, with a good bone structure. His cheekbones are high, which contributes to a slanted look.

His nose is long (Doja Cat, I see you…), it is narrow and it as a small bump on the bridge. The tip is slightly upwards.

His lips are thin and his mouth has a prominent cupid’s arch. His teeth are long and skinny like needles.

Like all vampires, his ears are pointy. He has multiple black piercings on each side.

His hair is soft and wavy. It’s hard to keep in place, so he keeps it short with a “relaxed” hairstyle.

His clothes are somewhat the style you would expect from a university professor… turtlenecks, blazers, button up shirts, you say it. He maintains a winter color pallets, wearing mostly dark, cold colors.

Yuma Mukami Character Study

Mixed with a lot of headcannons

• For his physical appearance, Yuma is big. There is no other way to describe him xD he has a strong bulky body, almost like a lumberjack lololol

• he has long brown hair with blonde highlights, which he keeps tied up in a messy bun. Surprisingly, he takes very good care of his hair so it is very soft and luminous

• he has tan skin thanks to gardening, which makes him stand out even more among his siblings (who are incredibly pale)

• he has very masculine features (square jaw, smaller eyes with hooded eyelids, big straight nose, prominent brow bone…). He spends a lot of time under the sun, so he frowns a lot to block the sunlights and it has become a habit for him to frown all the time, so most of the time he looks mad (he just has a RBF 😞)

• his teeth are big, so they peak through his lips (which he hates and thinks it looks stupid)

• His eyes are brown, tinted with a speck of green which is only perceivable if you look carefully

• he has ear expansions (or however they are called… picture Geto Suguru’s earrings)… he was probably coerced into this by Kou xD

• he wears a dog tag necklace from the time he was in the resistance group. The chain broke so he uses a leather cord.

• his style is like a mix of cowboy and lumberjack lmao he just likes to be comfy

• overall, with his tan skin and brown eyes (which make a good job hiding his elliptical pupils), out of all the diaboys he is the one who looks the most “human”

LAITO SAKAMAKI FASHION STYLE

Yes, we’re talking about the dude who went to school with a Fedora on…

Putting that aside (for my own welfare), I think Laito would be the type of guy to take risks with his style. I really don’t think he dresses like the typical tote-bagged french boy some headcanon him to do, but rather dresses like a pimp (fitting to his personality, honestly 💀)

You can see bits of animal print specked between his clothes… whether it’s on his blouse, a scarf, a blazer, or even in his underwear (after all, what could be more risqué than a lil leopard print peaking over the waist of his pants?)

Mostly wears button up shirts, which he never even bothers to button correctly, so his chest is uncovered most of the time (in a really chic way tho!)

Lots of sheer fabric, lace and see through blouses. He is comfortable with his body, after all, and the transparencies in his clothes allow him to play with expectations without revealing it all right away, giving him a sexy-yet not vulgar-look

You will never see Laito with no jewelry on. It’s what puts together his looks, after all! Pearl necklaces, dainty golden chains with lockets gifted from his past lovers (some of them even have their inicials written on! He fails to remember their names whatsoever), asymmetrical dangling earrings; and his favorite: a bunch of rings he has colected over the years. They’re all engagement rings which belonged to past sacrificial brides. After killing them off, he just takes the rings and stacks them in his fingers in some sort of cruel joke.
