I HAVE A ANNOUNCEMENT
pure vampires hate half vampires
“Love is far too complicated, it has a whole one more letter than ‘sex’.”
—Laito Sakamaki, perv 101
Ayato: How dumb do they think we are?!
Laito: Sometimes Reiji leaves me pictures of food instead of a shopping list.
Senario: Running into an Abusive Ex [Laito Sakamaki X Reader]
Sorry for missing yesterday’s post!
Laito Sakamaki
The two of you leaned on each other as you headed back to the mansion, talking about everything, anything, and whatever. It was your anniversary, Laito had put together a really nice night with what was sure to be a very... intimate ending once the two of you got back home.
However, before the two of you could reach your destination, a voice called out to the two of you.
“Y/N? Is that you?”
You froze upon hearing that voice. It was familiar and chilling and intense all at once.
A few footsteps passed and suddenly a familiar face swung into your view.
“It is you!”
Laito’s voice echoed from next to you, “Eh, Little Bitch, who’s this?”
“Oh...” You paused and looked at the newcomer, “...this is Nico.”
Laito chuckled and pulled you closer, “I think you’re making her uncomfortable, Nico, I think you should get going.”
“Sorry but who are you?” Nico snapped, frowning.
“My name’s Laito, I’m Y/N’s fiancée.”
You did a small double-take at Laito’s use of the word ‘fiancée’ but didn’t say anything.
Nico flinched and glared at him, “Psh, you’ve got lame taste, dude. She’s nothing sp—“
Laito’s hold on you suddenly vanished. In movements too quick for you to see, a red line appeared across Nico’s neck. He stumbled back a few steps and you looked away, unable to stomach the image before you, his face was unbearable enough on its own.
Finally, there was the sound of a body hitting the ground.
A few seconds of silence and you felt his hands on your shoulders, firmly pressing you against a nearby wall.
“La-Laito.”
“Hmm,” He hummed, his face extremely close to yours, “Little Bitch,” he whined, “How could you let me do that?”
You blinked a couple times from confusion and shock, “Huh?”
He pressed his body close, his leg pushing between yours. His lips went close to your ear, so close you could feel his breath. “For making such a trouble for me...” he pressed his lips against the shell of your ear, “You should find a way to make it up to me.”
You swallowed nervously as he closed the space between your bodies and your lips.
Laito could be sadistic and perverted 80% of the time, but he would never treat you the way your ex did, he was different because he knew where the line was and sometimes he messed up but he always respected that the line was there and it wasn’t just there for decoration.
“Y/N...”
The use of your name caught your attention. “Laito?”
“... I love you.”

He doesn’t understand it at first but that’s also partially because he doesn’t try to. He thinks they’re being ignorant or too forgiving. Overall, he tries to avoid the question. But when it comes up so might an argument.
I feel like his belief that love doesn’t exist also sort of stems as a way of coping. If he believes that love doesn’t exist then he can blame the fact that Cordelia didn’t love him on that fact alone—that she could never love him because love wasn’t real.
Because of this I think it would be really difficult for him to let go of that belief. I think whoever he ends up with needs to he patient enough to wait for him and teach him but also strong enough to deal with him.
However if someone who comes from the same background as him, someone who was formally abused, it might at credibility to their argument because they both had experienced similar situations but reacted in diffterent ways.
Given time he will probably ask them to prove it.
“How?” They might as back.
And he’ll reply, “Prove it by loving me.”
