Trio time with Rue for the WIP title game!
one of my fave ideas :3 send me a title from my wips and i'll tell you about it!
"trio time with rue" comes from my headcanon that gortash knows how to speak infernal and likes to talk to rue "not a tiefling but bhaals blood and guts" lastname in it because she gets frustrated / flustered at not knowing what he's talking about
he teaches her some phrases and decides this would be great to use for a "lets corner some nobles and make them scared" plan
except the exact plan is gortash brings over a duo who are looking to expand into baldur's gate in some market area gortash has his eyes on and decides to give them a "baldurian welcome" by inviting them over for dinner and enjoy some fine company. he convinces rue to pose as a worker from sharess' caress and on his mark, she can rough them up a little and make sure they know whos actually in control
rues like fine, i guess, whatever, and the evening goes well. shes about to introduce herself to the duo when gortash pulls a "oh poor thing came straight from the hells, she doesnt speak a word of common. i dont suppose you fine folk know infernal? no? oh, well let me translate for you"
the phrases hes been teaching her suddenly make sense as they communicate ways to get rid of the duo all while trying to not cause any suspicion that the two may not leave the house alive
its still very rough in my head but i NEED to write gortash speaking infernal AT SOME POINT!!!!
