Wu Xie reading articles on 怎么俘获一个男人的心 (How To Capture A Boy’s Heart) in episode one of Wu Xie’s Private Notes mere hours after he saw Zhang Qiling for the first time. I beg your finest pardon what in the world.
I posted a survey here on tumblr as well as on the DMBJ - Yucun discord server asking for fans to rate their favorite iron triangle actors from the various DMBJ dramas over the years, and here are the results!
Wu Xie
#1 - Zhu Yilong (朱一龙)
With more than twice the score of his closest competitor, Zhu Yilong absolutely swept the competition with 76 out of 250 points. He was followed by:
#2 - Qin Hao (秦昊) and #3 - Zeng Shunxi (曾舜晞)
These two were almost tied, with Qin Hao at 43 and Zeng Shunxi at 41. They are signifigantly higher than the next Wu Xies down:
#4 - Hou Minghao (侯明昊) and #5 Zhang Luyi (张鲁一)
Hou Minghao scored a total of 26 points annd Zhang Luyi recieved 19. As for the remaining four:
#6 -Jin Yangjun (景研竣), #7 - Li Yifeng (李易峰), #8 -
Lu Han (鹿晗) and #9 - Bai Shu (白澍)
all ranked less than 15 points. They may not have ranked the highest overall but they are still someones favorite Tianzhen.
Zhang Qiling
#1 - Xiao Yuliang(肖宇梁)
As the only Zhang Qiling to star in two different dramas it is no surprise that Xiao Yuliang made it to first with 63 out of 242 points but his runner up came very close to surpassing him:
#2 - Huang Junjie (黄俊捷)
With 61 points Huang Junjie just barely came in second, he didn't have two dramas going for him but, i mean, look at those eyes. And speaking of stunning performances:
#3 - Zhang Kangle(张康乐)
Am I biased? Yes. Tibetan Sea Flower is my favorite book and the drama adaption made me cry, anyways, Zhang Kangle received 27 points, putting him fairly even with our next two Zhang Qilings:
#4 - Cheng Yi (成毅) and - #5 Yang Yang (杨洋)
Cheng Yi recieved 26 points and Yang Yang received 23. As for our final three:
With 16, 14 and 11 points respectivly. Also, Jing Boran ranked the same as his adaption's Wu Xie, which is cute.
Wang Pangzi
#1 - Cheng Minghao
The ultimate(and only) older Pangzi. With 93 out of 210 points, Chen Minghao keeps coming back for more, and we thank him for it. Godspeed to the legend.
#2 - Zhang Boyu
At #2 Zhang Boyu is the favorite younger Pangzi, far below Chen Minghao at 44 points, he still has a decent lead on the others:
#3 - Cheng Fangxu (成方旭), #4 - Wang Bowen (王泊文) and #5 - Liu Tianzuo (刘天佐)
Cheng Fangxu came in at a respectable 32 points, Wang Bowen at 25 and Liu Tianzuo at 16. Which means, our ultimate Iron Triangle comes out to be......
