I LOVE how in chapter 2 of dmbllia, hulk and Bruce are talking to each other. It just seems like it should happen, and I don’t see enough of it. (Nor do I see enough of fics from bruce’s pov anyway but still..) ALSO hulk taking slight control just to make Bruce say he’ll help loki is super interesting. Hulk wanting to help loki is awesome (I love him, people need to make hulk nice like you do.)

By the way, when did you decide to put it on a hiatus? I didn’t see a note on it.

I put it on hiatus this week. I don't have any desire to work on it right now and I'm not going to force myself. Hiatus isn't permanent for me. The Blodig Skog was on hiatus for about a year before I went back and finished it, so don't panic yet. When I say something is discontinued, I mean it, so if that happens, there will be no further updates to the story.

Why it's on hiatus involves a confession. I loved working on this story and I enjoy writing it, but I made a fatal mistake because here's some knowledge you guys don't know, but I absolutely loathe writing Bucky Barnes and I hate writing Steve and Bucky's relationship even more than that. I like Bucky as a character enough and I enjoy him in MCU, but I hate hate hate writing him.

I thought it might be fun, and I could make it work and enjoy it, but I don't. Unfortunately, the plan I have for DMBLLIA involves Bucky being there. I literally can't even bring myself to start a sentence in the next chapter knowing that Bucky is going to be there. "Just change the plan" well I can't just make Bucky go away. Steve is going to think about him forever now and guess what! I do not want to do that. Any enjoyment I felt for this story has been drained by Bucky and now I don't want to work on it at all. If I hadn't added him, I probably would have been 4-7 more characters in or maybe even done with the fic by now. But no. Stalemate.

Literally, the only way I could convince myself to work on this in the next six months is to go back and edit Bucky out and then never bring him up again but that's not something I've ever done on a fic before. I don't...do take backs. When I write it, it's kind of set in stone. So i don't know what to do. I feel sad. Clint was going to have rudimentary magic Loki needed to teach him, Loki was going to go through a mental collapse which would result in him attempting to take his own life and Thor was going to be a mess, Yelena was going to be there eventually and she and Loki were going to be friends. There was a lot I wanted to explore and now we get none of it because I hate writing Bucky Barnes that much.
