He didn’t understand, really. In the demon realm, intimidation was how you survived if you didn’t want to be devoured. Even in “human form”, he was about eight towering feet of muscle, with impossibly lengthy silver hair and a sword neatly as long as he was tall. That was all very good, as far as he was concerned.
Like it seemed very good that he’d started a man out of his bag of fast food, taking one look at the imposing figure with shining green cat eyes and then dropping his order and running the other direction. To Sephiroth, it was a compliment mostly. Plus--
Well, the food was good. He had no names for these things, for the salt or the grease or the chili sauce, but it was very, very good and he very much wanted to know more. Taste more.
But, not knowing all that much about the human world or human customs, the demon didn’t necessarily see the trouble with staying in the alley and continuing to try scaring passers-by out of their food rather than just going around the corner and attempting to purchase some for himself. (Despite red orbs maybe or maybe not technically being acceptable human currency.)
