Sometimes I feel like I'm the only person who doesn't ship DanLady. It gives off the similar vibes as Aeon and I dislike that ship even more than DanLady.

Don't get me wrong there's nothing wrong with liking ether of those ships. I can kinda see the appeal of them. I just don't like them.

THOUGHTS ON NETFLIX'S DEVIL MAY CRY

Honestly, its an interesting adaptation. However, since I've been a big fan of the games since DMC3, I don't agree on everything about the new anime

But its an adaptation and its good in its own right so I rather enjoy what we have. The animation and songs are awesome and while I dont entirely enjoy how some of the characters are like compared to their game counterparts (I dont really like Netflix's Mary tbh but I do look forward to how she'll grow), I did enjoy watching it and hope that there'll be a Season 2 one day

Anyways, the anime made me wanna write my own version to how DMC could be. Tbh, I feel like there's a lot of wasted potential on how Mary is the descendant of the priestess yet her gameplay leaned more on guns as weapons. I rather like the idea that she could have priestess powers so I'd wanna write that in my own version of Lady

Also, Dante and Lady had a lot of tension and chemistry in DMC3 but it didn't go anywhere so to see some hints that the anime might want to ship them makes me wanna explore the possibility of it ngl

So yeah, those are my thoughts

SPOILERS FOR DMC SEASON 2 ON NETFLIX‼️(I haven’t played the games yet or seen the 2007 one)

Don’t wanna be that person but why did Mary kiss Dante and why did he let her🫩 She’s the most annoying person in the series so far🪦🪦 They toned down the cursing for her from wut I’ve watched but she still emphasizes every curse word she says😭 It’s hella annoying. It might just be bc I don’t really like enemies to lovers in shows bc REAL enemies wouldn’t fall in love with each other.

I was really hoping that they would STAY enemies since Mary tried to kill him the entire time of s1 but my hopes were up😓 Stuff like this makes me drop shows bc of how little sense it makes
