Happy Blessed Birthday to Earl Simmons, better known by his stage name DMX

(born December 18, 1970 in Mount Vernon, NY). 

DID YOU KNOW: 

- DMX named one of his daughter's after Aaliyah. 

- DMX said his character was not originally in the RMD film, and with Aaliyah's help, they wrote his character in last minute. 

- The music video "Back in One Piece" was shot in DMX's hometown and directed by Lil X. DMX stated "We did the video in Mount Vernon and Yonkers. I got to bring Aaliyah to the hood not many people can say that,"
