1995 the tunnel gave us so many endless memories from the golden era. Most people who lived through this era could remember how impactful this infamous night club was back then. The tunnel was the Mecca of the golden era for the best 90s and early 00s music. Every group & solo artist made an appearance during this era at this club. You had to be apart of the era to witness and truly understand this.
The tunnel was such a memorable iconic location because it was one club that you can see every big name in the industry in the crowd. You can simply just be bopping and dancing to the music and turn around and see lil Kim, jay -z biggie and many more just in the light of the party.
It was ahead of its time. A crazy location to say the least. A time where the bathrooms were co-Ed, just imagine what went down in this building. You might remember it from the introduction to the Belly movie staring @nas & @dmx produced by the would famous @hypewilliams a true classic film that was ahead of its time.
That introduction scene from the belly movie was a true event that took place. It was also one of the most dangerous clubs in the country. You had to be someone of importance to make it out with all of your jewelry. People would get robbed for furs, watches cars you name it, it was on the list for the stick up kids. Had to be cautious when you stepped foot in the tunnel.
All women seen above are still good friends today. True bond real friendship, this bond couldn’t be broken. To make it 20 plus years and still be down for one another says a lot about them. Loyalty brings forth royalty.
