Political predictions 2017-2020
I’ve made some predictions for the political landscape of importance for 2017-2020. I just want to be clear in noting that I am not a psychic but I am skilled in studying patterns. Is intuition involved? Possibly! But I’m super confident about these predictions that I have came up with. I’ll also explain the leads towards the prediction.
In fact: off the record, I predicted Donald Trump would win to my folks at home. They laughed, as did I, when it got closer to seem like Hillary Clinton’s inevitable win. I was shocked by the outcome, however. (Hillary didn’t sell me on winning big & Bernie ignited a revolution that will change politics forever)
I also predicted that Tom Perez would win the DNC Chair this past Saturday, again off the record. (Democratic Party is arrogant)
For the first time on the Record:
2017–2018: The Democrats will continue their business model of fundraising with corporations and billionaires while arrogantly thinking they are gaining voters. (This is evident by electing Tom Perez and voting to continue lobbying money from billionaires)
Also in 2017- Another European country will leave the EU. Probably Italy, could also be Spain. (I read all their current events online. Publishers will report economic troubles, and comment section always packed full of miserable Italian or Spaniard citizens who want radical change. There is a movement in Europe too, against status quo/establishment politics)
2018: The Democrats will LOSE even more congressional seats and seats in the House in the midterm elections in a historically devastating loss. Republicans will rule almost everywhere following this. Meanwhile, grass-roots movement and political parties pick up momentum. (IT is quite obvious to me, that the Democratic Party is crumbling. No. Doubt. About. It.)
2018-2020: More European countries will leave the EU as a result of economic and social prosperity of the countries that have already decided to do so. (According to growing discontent and economic troubles, these countries will most likely include: Italy, Spain, and France, etc.)
2020: If the Democrats have not come to terms with the progressive movement by then, they will LOSE the 2020 Presidential Election to either Donald Trump or another Republican. And a grass-roots party of some type will become the new liberal party that will leave the Democratic Party a thing of the past. (This is all based on the evident crumbling of democratic leadership. This all depends on if they get their shit together and wake up to the reality of changing ideas among the people. But if they don’t, I see this as being inevitable.)
Just a small prediction at this time. I will gladly admit when I am wrong so that I can learn from my mistakes. Nothing but genuine insights here. Let me know your thoughts.
