Hurt AU - Sunstrike

I’m back at it with the angst a second time today! Today’s target is Soleila and Swiftstrike!

Backstory:

Soleila was unsure whether or not to kill him. He was the same man that killed her dear brother Caelan, but he is also the man who she has slowly fallen in love with over the weeks where he was tagging along the party. Conflicted after finding the sword capable of killing him, she Hesitates. Swiftstrike had made up his mind. He decided for her as he pulled Soleila into a comforting hug, causing the sword to stab him through the chest, he lets out a few tears as he hugs the woman he had slowly learnt to love after finding more meaning than to just search for godhood or to continue torturing and executing. This.. is Swiftstrikes farewell to Soleila, the woman he wished he could have confessed to, yet was always too stubborn to do it, and this is the price he will pay for it.

The Dragon Empire is a large-scale living world 5th Edition Dungeons and Dragons campaign set in the fantasy realm of Hiraya. As players, you play as the Returned, warriors that were slain by invaders and then given a second chance. The Dragon Empire is a “west marches” style campaign where players group themselves according to their schedules and then book a timeslot to play. All players within the campaign belong to one faction, The Risen Heroes, and all work together for a common goal - the liberation of the people of Hiraya from the Dragon Empire. In order to do so, you must slay monsters within the Dragon Emperor’s forces, raid dungeons, steal magical artifacts, or any number of daring quests and adventures!
