My Best Idea in DnD Yet
So, as an idiot adventurer at about level 17, we came upon an issue in our dungeon: a giant shaft that we could fall down long enough for feather fall to wear off.
Ingredients: driftglobe, party of ten, 400 feet of rope, two drow, two people that can cast featherfall.
Instructions:
1. Tie your party together (alternatively, have them hold hands)
2. Person in the middle with the best sight (drow) holds the driftglobe for use of darkvision (120 feet)
3. Two casters hold an action to cast feather fall as soon as the drow tells them. (1 ACT)
4. JUMP!
It worked. We lived. And now it is a tried and true method of my party.
