The end of Spring!

It’s the big market day! Everyone is there and showing their best to end the season. The scrappy butch witch Anthemis hopes to make a good impression (especially on her crush, the mysterious Laith who has recently moved to the city from the fey realm) - but unfortunately, today is not going so well for her and her equally struggling, witchy friends…..

It doesn’t help that my twelve-dice-high stack fell down when I tried to stack them up to fifteen, giving her an additional Consequence.

More of my Hearthfyre playthrough! It’s a fun solo ttrpg based on tarot with a simple journey structure. The obstacle on the journey is rearing its head.

I started playing Hearthfyre, a solo tarot ttrpg game with a straightforward journey structure. I had a character in mind already, so I used the initial spread to define them more. I drew The Magician, Temperance, and The Queen of Wands which felt immediately appropriate for the character vibe. Laith is determined to figure out their destiny, physically traveling back to their beginning; they have peace about leaving even though they leave alone and with minimal possessions; and though it was a spontaneous decision, they’re following natural instinct and their heart is true.

My witch Clarion (they/them) meets a new local witch named Lys (she/her) and her twin magpie familiars, Lani and Mali. Once again, Clarion is oblivious to flirting. Clarion is a jack-of-all trades witch from a strict academic family descended from a famous fey mage, with roots in Greece, Ukraine and England. They now work at a local general store on a very different type of island - Lys’s home. Lys is an enchanter and local, but has just returned back home from studying abroad herself.
