This unit recently had some thoughts about a backburner project, and has decided to share them, along with notes about the original version! You can check them out on its patreon!
The idea was to take something more gamey and turn it more into a vehicle for more deliberate humor, although there is still a long way to go.
So, a few years ago, this unit started noodling around with the idea of a theatre-based ttrpg, where you are actors in an ailing troupe who

Hey there! This unit's been working on another game! It was supposed to be a short one, but it has quickly grown in size. Inspired by Frank Herbert's God-Emperor Of Dune (and the Dune series overall), it is a game about uncovering the secret weakness of the God-King tyrant of all space and then assassinating it, all the while working with various Factions and keeping suspicion to a minimum!
You can read more about it over on this unit's patreon, with $3 supporters also getting to check out current drafts of the different character classes, the major factions, and the setting!
Hey there! This game has sort of snowballed from where this unit was expecting, hehe. What was originally intended to be a short, maybe 5ish
So I’ve been working on this indie TTRPG project for a while. I chatted with my friends about it, gauged interest for a playtest, and built up a list of people I thought would be interested. And I’m talking about like half a dozen people I considered fairly close friends.
Finally I send out a big email with the rule book and an invitation and ask for availability to schedule. it’s been a week and nobody has replied at all.
Idk man. I want to imagine they’re just taking their time reading in detail. But tbh I know that’s not what’s happening here and it’s pretty fucking depressing. Not sure if I really want to send reminders and follow-ups and put in the effort to force something to happen. I feel like I am always the one doing that.
You've probably heard about RPG Trader over the past few. It's a new tabletop webstore that launched yesterday after a week or so of early access for developers to add their games.
Lots of smaller devs like myself and @takataapui have already set up shop- but if you're on the fence about checking it out, might I entice you with some of the larger titles?
The first and second editions of Cairn are both available at RPG Trader- in print as well as digital! If you go with the physical edition, you should absolutely grab one of these cool little notebooks while you're there.
Gila RPGS is there with Nova, Dragon Slayers, Wyrm and more!
You can grab Court of Blades! Court intrigue, forged in the dark? Yes please!
Plus plenty of modules and expansions for popular games like D&D, Draw Steel, Mausritter, Daggerheart, Pathfinder and Mothership!
Seems like the perfect time to plug my indie rpg like the whore that I am:
Want the experience of running out of the card game you just robbed, having just shot the dealer and been shot at, with your friend limping and bleeding from their calf? Your getaway driver ain't where they're supposed to be either, you're starting to feel the crank wear off, and you're hearing police sirens.
Well, maybe you shouldn't do that in real life, so you can play For a Few Cent's More instead! Rules light, simple and fast to set up and play, focused on single sessions 1 to 3 hours in length. It's free too!
Shortform Bumper 3: Going All City
Once again edited by our main man MINIMIS, this shortform video shows off our latest videogame mod: RFLxBRC, a Bomb Rush Cyberfunk modpack themed after our own scifi skateboarding TTRPG, Radio Free Lutesse.
