i feel like the s2 kids aren’t appreciative enough of their parents who aren’t in DADDIES. linc keeps saying his dad sucks but like marko has done nothing to deserve that. rebecca in episode 1 says “im proud of you teeney” which he pretty much pushes off in favor of sparrow being harsh. scary just doesn’t talk abt her mom much and is very clear that its terry who sucks and taylor’s taylor and loves his mom and obv doesn’t count. tbh it might just be the players forgetting that they have more parents but idk it irks me

I think Scary's bio dad was like Gi-hun from Squid Game - the only thing we've seen from him is him pathetically asking for money from his 15 year old daughter. I don't believe he was physically abusive to Scary (or her mother), I think he just pretty much ignored Scary because she was too young to have much money (though I bet he asked for some of her pocket money and because she was desperate for his affection she gave it). I believe Veronica is extremely insecure about money because she had to hide it to keep it from him. I also believe she finally kicked him out, rather than him just leaving, but didn't tell Scary that, so Scary thinks it's her own fault her dad never came back 😭
