🐉 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞! Ditto Bug Tiny Monstrosity (shapechanger), unaligned Armor Class 13 Hit Points 7 (2d4+2) Speed 15 ft., Climb 15 ft.  Skills. Perception +3 Senses. Darkvision 60 Ft., passive Perception 13 Languages. Understands Common but can't speak Challenge 1/4 (50 XP)  Traits Defensive Ball: As a bonus action or as a reaction to taking damage, the ditto can roll into a ball instinctually activating its innate magical defenses. In this position the ditto cannot move on its own but gains a +5 bonus to AC and resistance to all damage, including against the triggering attack. The ditto also ignores the first 60 ft of any fall damage. The ditto can unroll as part of its normal movement.  Imprinting: If cared for and nurtured, the ditto bug will come to recognize you as a parent or object of habitual trust. Once imprinted the Ditto forms a magic, telepathic bond which allows you to communicate with it as long as you are within 500 ft. As an action, you can also see through the ditto’s eyes and hear what it hears until the start of your next turn, gaining the benefits of any special senses that the ditto bug has. During this time, you are deaf and blind with regard to your own senses. Note: As a variant rule the DM may allow Dittos to be summoned as, or transformed into, familiars.  Actions Ditto (3/day). While in it’s Defensive Ball the ditto bug can use its action to polymorph into a copy of any simple tiny object it can see within 30 ft. As an object the ditto is indistinguishable from an ordinary object and is considered Paralyzed. The ditto cannot voluntarily revert to its original form until at least 1 minute has passed. Otherwise the ditto stays in this form until it uses its action to dismiss it or it dies.  As an object the ditto retains all its senses and continues to benefit from the protection provided by the Defensive Ball.
