Maldrith, the Blood-Bound (CR 10, Large Monstrosity) & Sidequest: "The Beast Below the Monastery"
Looking for a different kind of Halloween one shot this weekend?
Beneath the Monastery of the Candescent Word, something old is stirring. The monks hear claws scraping through the stone at night, and the seal that once held the creature below is breaking. The last knight who faced it left his blade in the beast’s heart, but his magic is fading fast.
This side quest is designed for 6–7th level parties to add a bit of tension, mystery, and a slow descent into a remote monastery. And if you’re not running a Halloween session, the statblock still works perfectly for a deadly, mutated lycanthrope encounter with heavy Dark Souls energy.
Whether you use this as a short, spooky detour in your campaign, an entire horror arc, or a standalone one shot, tag a DM who may find it useful for this weekend's session, or tell me how you plan on terrifying your players this Halloween!

🚨 Players Wanted – Mass Effect DnD Campaign (AEST Timezone) 🚨
We're still looking for two more players to join our Mass Effect-themed DnD campaign! Sessions are scheduled in the AEST timezone, perfect for players in Australia, New Zealand, or nearby regions. 🌏🎲
What to expect: ✨ A story-driven adventure set in the Mass Effect universe 🎲 DnD-style system (with some homebrew tweaks) 🎭 Focus on character development, roleplay, and team dynamics 🧠 A healthy mix of sci-fi, tactical action, drama, and delightful chaos
Who we’re looking for: 🔹 Reliable players interested in long-term roleplay 🔹 No need to be a Mass Effect expert, but fans are definitely welcome 🔹 Creative character ideas encouraged 🔹 Based in (or available during) AEST hours
If you're interested, feel free to reach out here or shoot a DM! We promise a fun ride—unless you're a Reaper. Then... no promises. 😉
Tell me WHY, upon introducing a monster that melts in shadows, my players' immediate reaction was to leave the empty sunlit garden they were in to go inside, while splitting up? And why one of them had the idea to teleport right into the old, empty library with stained glass windows? I didn't mean to make that encounter scary, it was a single monster in the garden while they were together. Choices were made... Which altered the situation. I found it very funny though.
Planescape 💓
New characters for a planescape dnd campaign 💓
Goth Satyr Druid
Godcomplex Eladrin Ranger
Maidenless Tiefling Warlock
LoZ DnD Rito Bard .:Character Design:.
This is kinda an older piece(2021), but I really love how it came out so I wanted to upload it. This was for my DnD Homebrew Campaign where the party is in the world of Legend of Zelda, and I adapted and or made all the possible races playable from scratch. I still plan to rerun this when I have the time.
