Session 44 gave me the chance of playing Aurora, a vengance paladin. The party fought an ex-king, and threw tons of nat20s to the DM! And a sneak peack of session 45, which started with Val getting reunited with his parents.

The party's been going through some stuff
Session 20? 7 had a chat with her shadow friend, Pepper saved "the chosen one", Usk and Val had a chopping wood contest, Zinbi explained the wonnders of gossip to her friend, Neil kissed the tiefling (again) and the kids had a moment of emotional support (and we love it!)
From Session 32 (ish). The Party played aroud with the Deck of Many More Things and found out it may have not been worth it, since Usk lost his pet to it, and we had to make a deal with a devil to have Pepper and Neil back. Also, we finally got into Val's original City, where he lost control for a second and attacked Pepper (She's fine!, the tomb on the last one is not hers!)
From Session 36 (ish). Val reunited with the only good parental figure he's ever known, and later that same day they went to a cave, where he got possesed and the party had to fight him and some cultists, but now he's fine! Everything's fine!
And from 1st to last, Sessions 39-40. The party had a small moment at the Masquerade, before leaving to go find Val's adoptive father, who is now cursed, untill my boy goes through a trial.
Doodles from session 45: Party got a couple of gifts from a Mamut, there's a Muppet in the sky, Zinbi had a bit of a reading time, Storm lied (as always), got reunited with an old... friend? And I got to present to everyone my genasi blood hunter: Zephyr
Last session we got: hugs, mamuts, teamwork, amazing arguments, drama, found family and the best abogoblin on this side of the continent
The trial arc it's as dramatic as I hoped
