Honestly I'm just so fed up with transfems centering all transphobia on transmascs and transmascs centering all transphobia on transfems. This sounds so ridiculous. And I can at least use my lived experience instead of accusing people of being white by instead saying that this is an incredibly western centric idea of how things are. Transphobia affects everyone where I live. You can't change your name or gender marker. Transfem or transmasc, you have to beg a doctor to prescribe you hrt or find ways to get it off the counter. Buying and sharing hrt with other trans people is common practice. We're not labor protected and certainly not murder protected.
In the west it does seem like silencing and erasing transmascs is a hobby, but out here being visibly trans is so dangerous that you end up having to erase that status as much as you can. Your AGAB or gender identity does not offer you privilege or protection. If there weren't pride parades in very select few areas, there would be no opportunity to be visibly yourself anywhere. It sucks. And in my national context, you don't actually have it better as a transfem or a transmasc. It's just different levels of awful.
