I'm here to share more about my OC backstory. The wifey, Kaltain or Katty. You already know she's grown up in an abusive family. So let me explain more. 

 

She's actually come from a very wealthy family....but there's a catch. She's actually an affair child. Her father had a scandal with one of her maids. He told her that her mother (the maid) was his true love. The one he married is only an arrangement. 

 

After the wife learned about the affair, she poisoned the maid. When the husband (Katty's father) found out the maid had died, he took Katty and let her grow up with his other family. The thing is, he didn't know that his wife and kids all hated her because of the attention she was given by his husband. 

 

A few years later, when she's 12 years old, her husband went on a business trip, but he didn't come back. Later, she got the news that he got into a car crash. Starting from that, her life was never easy: abuse, slavery, harassment, etc. 

 

After she turned 20, she finally escaped or ran away. She moved to New Orleans. At first, she only worked as a waitress, but after the singer decided to quit, her boss hired her as a singer. She hesitated at first but gave in after. Everyone is enthralled by her voice. So then she became the famous singer there. 

 

You know the drill: Alastor meets her there, asks her for a dance, and we have some dinner. Friend is growing more. Official, then get married.

 

So life has been great from there; she is happy, Alastor is happy, everyone is happy—until the wife (let's call her mother now) came to visit after knowing she had become famous. 

 

Alastor is okay with that; Katty, on the other hand, never told Alastor about her growing life before. When the mother arrived, it went well for the first few hours until the mother started to harass her. Thats when Alastor knew she never had a good childhood. 

 

So he needs to take things into his own hands...

i also want to say bc i am white and tend to post more about ray than the rest of mcr i'm definitely going to be more aware of the way i personally talk about him in relation to the others and just in general and i hope other white people who actively post about him/are "raygirls" or whatever will do the same bc we have to hold ourselves accountable too & it's not the job of any poc in the fanbase to do that for us
