MAYBE if she stopped, I don’t know, having SEX with men or at the very least, stop GOING to their APARTMENTS when a) you are emotionally vulnerable and b) you aren’t dating/engaged/married to them!!!! Maybe LEARN how to ARTICULATE an EMOTION rather than bottling it up and then being shocked when that doesn’t go well!!!

7:What dates from 2015 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?June 18: Mary was born, and I got my first poem acceptance. September 6: Book accepted. July 21: 3rd wedding anniversary. January 14: Started writing in my good leather journal, which is now about filled.

14:Where did most of your money go?Debt.

29:What one thing made your year immeasurably more satisfying?Filling my house with so many books. So many books. (If only to avoid repeating ‘book and baby’ over and over again, although really, that never gets old.)

32:Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?None, really? I don’t do that anymore. But I did blaze through Bones and Daredevil and enjoyed them both immensely (though not without reservation.)

Autumn? Fresh? In?

Yay! (These are all lines from poems-in-progress, which for me right now means a set of completely rough, free-write first drafts.)

A line with “in”:  

We have never in our lives traveled in straight lines. 

A line with “fresh” - well here, have two:

break of first sunlight on fresh, turned and turning earth. 

and

dapples, fresh spider-silked shadows;

A line with “autumn”: (I had to pick, here, because I write about autumn a lot.)

as creamy late summer fences glow in the pooling light of autumn.
