@dobujutsu hit the heart for a random starter. Randomizer gave us Senju Hashirama
He had never dreamed of seeing Konoha grow to be what he had always dreamed it to be. And yet, here he was, looking at his village and seeing his dream come to life. Things were so different, but he’d not found anything that didn’t make him happy he’d decided to create this village to start with. Hashirama spent a lot of time wondering the streets, just walking and watching, learning about things through observation.
Though, there were occasionally things that the reanimated man just couldn’t quite process. Such as this ‘festival’ that was being hosted. Shops had decorated themselves differently and each had some kind of specialty item to sell. Whether it be a toy or weapon or food. Standing at the edge of the festival, he watched the villagers interacting, the excitement on their faces. Leaning against one of the buildings, he tried to understand why they were so happy, what was so interesting about this. Why couldn’t they just buy those same things from the shops any other time?
Standing there lost in thought, trying to understand without asking questions that he felt he should already know the answer to, he didn’t notice that one of those approaching the festival had slowed to a stop near him. Hashirama was aware of everyone moving around, but there came a point where a crowd like this made awareness of individuals nearly impossible. At least when none of them harbored any desire to fight.
