Winthrop- Is secretly afraid that he'll start losing body parts like patchwork but doesn't say it aloud. Tends to go to barrows a lot for frequent exams even though the doc swears he's fine.

Tulip- Has indulgent fantasies of being swept off her feet by a strong, handsome smoothskin with piercing green eyes and hair as black as midnight. If you tell anyone she said this she'll kill you.

Patchwork- Has definitely asked someone to pull his finger then laughed when they actually pulled it completely off. Nobody indulges him in this joke anymore but he keeps trying it like every other day or so.

Ahzrukhal- Has an odd fascination with Barrows' research but won't tell anybody why. Barrows has since stopped talking about his findings outside of the clinic and won't allow ahzrukhal back in.

Charon- Has eaten human flesh before. Don't ask.

Carol- Has also eaten human flesh before. Don't ask.

Greta- Goes to snowflake every other week for dead skin removal. She thinks he looooves to gossip with her. He doesn't.

Snowflake-Is secretly scared of the dark, luckily underworld never turns it's lights off. On the times they occasionally lose power he spends as much time at carol's place as he physically can.

Doc Barrows- It bother's him when ghouls have a couple loose strands of hair on their otherwise completely bald heads. He feels a compulsion to pull them out but never does.

Nurse Graves- Is under the impression that she's going to marry doc barrows one day. The doc is... not quite sure where this assumption came from and just pretends to be in the dark about it.

Mister Crowley-Is banned from wearing his power armor in carols place and he is mad as hell about it. Begrudgingly follows the rule only because winthrop threatened to let his suit fall into disrepair.

Quinn- Desperate for any prostitute that'll fuck a ghoul. Hell, he'll even settle for "openly disgusted but still needs the money."

Willow- Believes she is way more attractive as a ghoul than she was as a smoothskin. Is very insulted (and trigger happy) when tourists imply otherwise.

Griffon- ended up trapped in the basement for so long that he started losing it a bit. He now claims that he can understand and talk to ferals.

here’s how ghouls show they care

can be read as platonic or romantic

ahzrukhal - extravagant displays of affection, the more people see the better. expect gifts aplenty. likes to show you off, will chat about you to anyone who will listen. definitely gossips about his patrons, attempts inside jokes but they usually fall flat

barrows - sets aside time when he will meet up with you over a meal, or if that doesn’t work out then he lets you know you’re free to come into the clinic if he’s not actively treating someone. might even let you in on what he’s working on, will absolutely bounce ideas off of you if you’re willing to help him out.

bessie lynn - gets very rambly, wants you to know everything that’s happening with her. might get a bit more reserved if she notices/thinks she’s talking too much but with some gentle reassurance she will continue. she just has a lot to say!

carol - checking in on you now and then, always lets you know how glad she is to see you. she’s very vocal about how she cares about you, but in ways like she hopes you stay safe, she hopes you’ll return soon, etc. just like yknow. watch out for greta.

crowley - prefers your company, can sit in the same room in silence and considers that Prime hanging out. appreciate it while you can. a bit more emotionally vulnerable if he really cares, particularly if he’s sober he’s calmed down a lot more

gob - lets you sit near him while he’s working/actively tries to keep conversation with you, more willing to take risks. if moriarty has already been killed then the energy in the saloon is so much different when he notices you’re there, he’s less stressed, will talk about just abt everything that’s happened since you were last in.

greta - playful teasing, can and will ignore her customers to hang out with you. shares all the latest gossip with you, nicknames

griffon - gets distracted during his speeches, feels more confident in your company. if he sees you in the crowd he’ll seek you out after his presentations to chat, absolutely just fucks it up tho. asks you to walk him back to the authority building

jeanette - so much more talkative around you, has a warmth to her that is reserved for only people she trusts. hesitant, but values physical affection, especially loves holding hands/hooking arms together, it helps to ground her

michael masters - gives tidbits of advice, anecdotes, outdated jokes. if you’re interested, he’s willing to talk about his life before the war and the research he was involved in. a lot more lively around you.

patchwork - lots of physical affection, even if you’re not touching he's always physically close. tends to idly hum or sing quietly and more often while you’re around

quinn - also enjoys giving you little gifts, things that remind him of you. might write letters while he’s traveling. if you want he’ll take you on his trips with him, especially excited to show you his favourite places, tells you about places he remembers from before the war

snowflake - playing w your hair, of course, physical affection. tends toward rambling, will apologize if they notice it. lets you accompany them on errands

tulip - she’ll let you hang around with her, offers to read aloud to you. if she really trusts you she will share her original content. wants to share her knowledge and interests with you, offers to do tea/tarot readings, teach you how to do them, and offers to teach you ASL (also keeps her in practice)

willow - nicknames, playful teasing, if you’ll stick around with her for a while she loves to compete against you for any goal at all. more willing to talk about herself, she is very lonely and appreciates your company more than anything

winthrop - checking in, appreciates it too if you come check in on him once in a while. doesn’t mind you interrupting him working but will gently remind you he does have to get something done. might even let you help him out but don’t count on it.
