I feel like we don’t talk enough about how the First Doctor clearly labeled the TARDIS controls with a Sharpie.
Man was flying a time machine through all of space and time like it was a high school science project.

Hello dwtwt how are we tonight !!!
Twelve at some point probably: No I am entirely aware of your planet's social conventions, but given that I find them limiting I've elected to ignore them.
Do you guys think the Doctor got fruitier over time thanks to prolonged exposure to humanity, or was that always just lurking beneath a thick layer of Catholic-flavored Gallifreyan guilt that slowly peeled away the longer they stayed off-world?
GUYS, GUYS THE POLISH POLISH BOT HAS A NAME, AND IT'S NAME IS SCOOT!
Fan castings for Doctor Who are always a trip, but yesterday I saw someone go, “That guy from House would make a good Doctor,” and someone else with their whole chest replied, “No he wouldn’t, he’s American.”
And in that moment… I wanted to cradle them like a baby bird. I wanted to brush the hair from their face, gaze into their soul, and whisper:
“Darling. Sweet pea. Light of someone's life. Hugh Laurie is British. He’s just really good at pretending he isn’t.”
Anyway I haven’t emotionally recovered and I might never again know peace.
Sometimes I think about how folks who only watch Doctor Who and not much else from British TV—don’t realize how often the show turns into a game of “OMG, it’s [actor] from [other British show]!”
