i am so here for someone joking about buying him one- and then either they do, or he goes out and buys one himself (he was so scared someone he knew would magically manifest behind him at the pet store)- either way, he lets it rot at the bottom of a sock drawer for months on end out of shame until he tries it on for reasons unbeknownst to him at the end of a particularly hard day and falls in love with the feeling. imagining him sleeping in it because he’s so comfortable and then he gets called into work in the middle of the night.. he forgets he still has it on until he has time to rest and he feels the tag jingling around under his shirt collar. oooops

do ya think puppy chase would like literal treats like yummy food or just prefer getting told he’s a good boy???

oooohhh i think about this a lot actually!!! ty for the ask !! i feel like he would honestly come to discover really specific yummy treats that work well for him. I think he would want to stray as far from human food as physically possible without straying into actual inedible dog treats- maybe things like crackers or relatively flavourless cookies. I do think doggie praise is often enough of a treat for him, but he also accepts and strives for reward in the form of an actual edible treat. whoever is handling that man probably knows this and that’s how they keep him such a good boy.. he must work extra hard for his stupid crunchy flavourless treats. maybe if he’s feeling particularly crafty he might make his own sort of puppy chow (yummm.. peanut butter) type snack. i’ve never had puppy chow, but i’ve seen other people make it online and it looks good!
