1- how many dogs do you have?
Two! Sargent and Jasper.
17- do your dogs compete in confirmation?
No, but I plan to with next dog so he can be a stud.
23- what do you ususally teach first?
After I teach the dog’s name, I teach impulse control (at the food bowl) then start recall. Then I teach basic positions- stand, down, sit, stay, etc.
45- Do you brush your dog’s teeth?
Sargent- every few days he gets them brushed.
Jasper- not if I want to keep all of my fingers.
67- would you describe your dog as high, low, or medium energy?
They’re both probably medium-high energy. You can skip a day, but you better make up for it the next day.
71- does your dog bark at TV doorbells?
Our doorbell button is broken, so it doesn’t look like a doorbell so people don’t really press it. As a result, the dogs don’t really understand a doorbell means people, so to them it’s just another noise. Sargent may bark because noise, but neither of them really bark at the TV.
