you gasp while looking up, neck craning in pain as you admire the beautiful carvings on the ceilings and walls. "darlin' look at that," you say while gesturing at a part that caught your eyes, however, his eyes remains boring unto yours. you look back to him to see him staring at you, "we're here to appreciate the art babe," you whisper to him.

naoya shrugs, smirking at you, "i don't see how i'm wrong. i'm surely doing what you've said," he nonchalantly replies. you roll your eyes at him and tug him to move to another room, "stop being sappy." he chose not to make any witty rebuttal, pulling you closer to his side instead, arms around your shoulder in a protective manner.

you hear him sigh as the two of you strut around the room, a small gasp coming from you whenever you see something you like and leaves you in awe. naoya, on the other hand, grumbles, as much as he dislikes places like this, he can't seem to say 'no' to you. he doesn't know how but you always have your ways with him.

deciding to treat him after dragging him this far, you spot a quiet and less crowded place on the balcony. "much better?" you ask, pulling him closer to the edge to get a better view of the beautiful scenery. the soft sound of water hitting against the wall at the bottom of the castle makes the moment tranquil and peaceful.

naoya moves behind you, embracing you from the back. his frame looming over your figure, "much better, could stay here forever" he mumbles, leaving a chaste kiss on the side of your neck. the two of you stays like that for a while, basking in the comfortable silence while staring at a distance.

"i want this sooner than i thought," he sighs, pulling you closer to him. you gently sway side to side as he mindlessly follow, "the zenin naoya wants to settle huh?" you say in a teasing manner. "and l/n y/n is the one he wants to grow older with," he says, serious with his reply, you feel your cheeks heat up at the thought.

you clear your throat, leaning back to his chest, "guess the same can be said to me." his thumb caresses your sides, his lips coming in contact with your temple, his kiss lingering, "love you," he mumbles before pulling away, "always and forever," he added making you smile, "love you too, always and forever."
